Before initial use and after subsequent uses, the pan should be hand washed with warm, soapy water. Extended soaking is not recommended. Before each use, it should be brushed with butter or shortening and dusted with flour or cocoa to coat. Baking spray containing flour may also be used, but regular cooking spray should not be used. Mixes and recipes may vary, so the pan should be filled no more than 3/4 full to avoid overflow.

The cast aluminum pan with handles is oven safe to 400 degrees, and the non-stick coating is made without PFOA, ensuring easy food release and cleanup. Metal utensils, scouring pads, and abrasive cleaners should not be used on the non-stick surfaces.
